Die-cut, kiss-cut or roll?
The format decides how the sticker is handled and applied.
- Die-cut: cut through backing and all — individual stickers in your exact shape.
- Kiss-cut: cut through the sticker only, leaving a backing sheet — easier to peel, great for sheets and packs.
- Roll labels: wound on a core for hand or machine application — the standard for product labelling at volume.
Materials and finishes
Vinyl is waterproof and long-lasting; paper is cheaper for indoor packaging and seals. Transparent BOPP gives a no-label look on glass — remember to add a white underprint if light colours must show on a dark surface. Matte reads premium and photographs well; gloss makes colours pop and shrugs off moisture.
Print-ready sticker files
Design at 300 DPI at final size, or send vector artwork. Add 3 mm bleed beyond the cut line and keep text and logos at least 3 mm inside it — die cutting has a small tolerance. Export CMYK PDF with fonts outlined and the cut path named CutContour.

Frequently asked questions
Are your stickers waterproof?
Vinyl and BOPP stickers with lamination are fully waterproof and safe on bottles, tumblers, helmets and outdoor surfaces. Paper stickers are not waterproof and should be used indoors, on packaging and for seals.
What is the minimum order for custom stickers?
Small runs start at 50 pieces per design, so you can test a label before committing to bulk. Roll labels are quoted from 1,000 pieces because they are produced on a continuous web.
What is the difference between die-cut and kiss-cut stickers?
Die-cut stickers are cut through the sticker and its backing, producing individual stickers in your shape. Kiss-cut stickers are cut through the top layer only, leaving a rectangular backing sheet that makes them easier to peel and neater to hand out in packs.
How should I set up sticker artwork?
Work at 300 DPI at final print size or supply vector art, add 3 mm bleed beyond the cut line, keep text 3 mm inside it, export in CMYK with fonts outlined, and name the die-cut path CutContour as a spot colour.
