Types of LED sign board
The lighting method changes both the look at night and the cost.
- Backlit 3D letters (halo lit): light spills behind each letter onto the wall — the premium modern look.
- Front-lit acrylic letters: the letter face glows evenly; the clearest read from a distance.
- Glow sign box: a flex or acrylic face over an LED-lit frame — the classic full-panel shop board.
- Edge-lit acrylic: light enters the sheet edge and lights engraved artwork; best for indoor reception signage.
- ACP board with vinyl: an unlit but durable and economical façade board.
Materials and durability
Outdoor boards use marine-grade ACP or GI frames, IP65 LED modules and SMPS drivers rated for Indian voltage swings. Acrylic letters are 3–12 mm cast sheet with laser-polished edges. Stainless steel letters (SS 304) suit hotels, clinics and corporate façades where a metal finish is expected.
Measuring and installation
Send a straight-on photo of your façade with the wall width in feet, and we will return a scaled mock-up before fabrication. Our team handles site measurement, wall fixing, electrical connection and a functional handover for local installations; boards shipped out of area come with a mounting template and wiring diagram.

What is the difference between a 3D board and a glow sign board?
A glow sign board is a single flat panel — usually backlit flex or acrylic in a lit frame. A 3D board uses individually fabricated raised letters mounted on the wall or on a base panel, which reads as more premium and can be halo lit from behind.
How long does an LED sign board last?
With IP65 modules and a good SMPS driver, an outdoor LED sign board runs 5–7 years before modules dim noticeably. Acrylic faces may yellow slightly after several years of direct sun; ACP and stainless steel bodies last far longer.
Do you install the sign board?
Yes. For local orders we handle site measurement, fabrication, wall fixing, electrical connection and handover. Boards shipped elsewhere come pre-assembled with a mounting template and wiring diagram so any local electrician can fit them.
